The wrong decision was made: the answer to the appeal of Ararat

On August 27, from FFA Refereeing Committee received a response to the appeal of Ararat regarding the refereeing of the match of the 4th round of the Vbet Premier League of Armenia Sevan -Ararat.

The members of the Referee Committee decided the following:

  1. In the 18th minute, an incorrect decision was made, as a player of the Ararat scored a goal after an opponent's deliberate play with the ball.
  2. In the 39th minute of the game, a player of the Sevan team really violates the rules, however, taking into account the positions of the players, this did not deprive the opportunity to score an obvious goal. The referee had to award a free kick in favor of the Ararat and show a yellow card to the defender of the Sevan team for a rough game.

Thus, the FFA judging committee satisfied the appeal only on the first point.

The decision of the FFA judicial committee not to satisfy the complaint in connection with the second point is puzzling since the obvious error of the judge was challenged first of all, and not its possible consequences and the severity of the punishment.

Thus, the judging committee recognized that an incorrect decision was made on the outcome of the match, but there is no information in the response about what the consequences of the decision are.
